How much is shipping?

We offer flat-rate shipping across Canada, so whether you're ordering one tug or filling your cart, your shipping cost stays the same.

• Ontario: $16 flat-rate
• All other Canadian provinces and territories: $20 flat-rate

Since we're located in Ontario, we're able to offer a lower local shipping rate within the province.

Can I order with a friend to save on shipping?

Absolutely! We encourage it.

Since our shipping is flat-rate, many customers choose to place one larger order and split the cost with friends. The only requirement is that the order is placed under a single customer account and shipped to one address.

How do you ship orders?

We only ship using expedited, tracked, and insured shipping services.

We never use untracked economy or letter mail options because we want your order to arrive quickly and safely.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Yes! While international shipping isn't currently available through our website, we'd be happy to help.

Simply email julia@needsomesun.com with what you'd like to order and where you're located, and we'll provide a shipping quote.

Why can't I select shipping on some products?

Some items are created specifically for event pickup, fundraisers, or club orders, so shipping may be disabled on those products.

If you'd prefer to have one of these items shipped, just email julia@needsomesun.com and we'll be happy to provide a shipping quote whenever possible.

Yes! We love partnering with retailers, training facilities, clubs, and other businesses that want to carry Need Some Sun products.

Where are Need Some Sun toys made?

Every Need Some Sun toy is proudly handmade in our workshop just outside London, Ontario, Canada.

We design, sew, assemble, and inspect each toy ourselves because quality matters.

Where do your materials come from?

We source our materials from around the world to find the best products available, but whenever possible we choose Canadian suppliers first.

For our real fur products, we primarily work with Canadian Indigenous suppliers and local farmers, allowing us to support Canadian communities while making use of responsibly sourced natural materials.

Whenever there's a Canadian option available that meets our standards, that's the one we'll choose.

What if my order arrives damaged or there's a problem?

We stand behind what we make.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or below the quality you expect, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll always do our best to repair or replace the item and make things right.

Photos of the issue are always appreciated, as they help us improve our products and determine the best solution.
